"What became an iconic monument of social housing in Austria will always be my home: Alterlaa, an apartment building complex which is basically a city in the city. In reference to my childhood and thus also the ""golden years"" of the residential complex, I will return to my past home for 27 Storeys and approach the question of its future. Because now, after more than 40 years, a Change of generations is happening and the whole, allegedly triumphant concept of architect Harry Glück is put to the test: The first tenants, the pioneers, die. Yet there is already a new generation ready to take over. Behind the walls of the satellite city, an open and emotional conflict between the well-tried and new arises.A look behind the scenes of a mystified microcosm about which opinions differ immensely.
