Germany, 1942: During the Second World War, the Nazi regime's euthanasia program takes on unimaginable proportions.13-year-old Ernst Lossa, a child of Jenisch - traveling merchants - is separated from his family and gets into the mills of National Socialist exclusion and racial ideology.He is regarded as difficult to train and is pushed from home to home until he is finally committed to the health and nursing home Kaufbeuren-Irsee.He begins to see through the mechanisms of the killing measures practiced there and tries to save his friends and fellow patients.Although he is completely healthy, he is put to death for his rebellious nature in the context of the euthanasia process.
