In a time of change, a new generation of self-confident performers is emerging. They play their own music, with its critical lyrics. Their audiences and the press love them, and people listen to them. These young women are in control of their own lives and follow their dreams, though some of them live in precarious financial circumstances. Set to a lot of music, Oh yeah, she performs! follows several 20- to 30-year-old modern-day stars from Austria through the ups and downs of a dream they have chosen.
