Originally from India, Raj was irrevocably denied asylum after living in Vienna for years. He remains in Austria illegally in order tocare for his nine-year-old daughter Maya, who lives in a children’s home. Raj works around the clock as a newspaper vendor and deliveryman.Only when Jasmin, Maya's guardian, gives Raj an ultimatum does he realize the extent of his situation. Raj struggles to provide his daughter with her own home and a normal family life. Raj painstakingly manages to obtain a moped and establishes his owndelivery service.His success, however, is short lived. Soon the events come thick and fast. What unfolds is an emotionally moving drama that takes a father and daughter across Vienna’s Indian parallel universe. The short time they spend together is so formative that even Raj's inevitable deportation cannot diminish their newly found fortune.
