"Claudia is 19 years old. If there is one thing she is proud of it is her 4-year-old son Daniel. She lives with him, her mother and her older brother in a council flat in Simmering, Vienna. Her selfless devotion to Daniel has earned Claudia respect and admiration butnow the pressure is growing. Daniel is in kindergarten and Claudia does not know what to do with her life. She has not finished School and has no job. For her, the Austrian army appears to be the perfect place to learn the discipline she lacks. She has to pass an entryexam but no school diploma is required. “This is her last chance” says Claudia’s mother and Claudia starts to workout. She runs and lifts heavy weights; she really wants to succeed because there is more at stake than just a job. It is about accepting responsibilities and no longer running away. It is - finally - about growing up."
