Skiing in Scarves

Women, who practice sports are often confronted with gender-specific obstacles and prejudices, even open resistance.Zakia, Fatima and Fariba are Ana's best students - ambitious and determined to succeed, they even want to take part in the Ski World Cup later. Ana is aware of the limited opportunities in Afghanistan and prepares the girls for intensive training in the Alps. When Ana has to give up her job as a ski instructor, the girls are faced with a new challenge: to become a ski instructor to continue Ana's work.
