The School of Magic Animals

"Ida is new to the city, she misses her friends and everything appears very stupid to her. In the street she sees a bus with a penguin in it, but that can’t be true, right? She is not the only one who has funny animal encounters this evening. A neighbour boy, Benni, meets a very dangerous-looking snake. In the new school, Ida feels alien, alone and excluded. But the new teacher, Miss Cornfield, promises the class ""magical animals,"" friends for life, who are looking for special children. These animals could speak and are invisible to the uninitiated. This has to stay this way. The children make a solemn oath that they never tell anyone about it. But when Ida receives a visit from her old friend Miriam, she tells her about the animals and the magical world threatens to break apart. Ida has to find a way to rescue the magic world and her new friends help her."
